Under normal circumstances, chiropractic adjustments do not hurt. The patient may feel brief moments of discomfort followed by feelings of release.
The feeling of an adjustment is often described as “unusual” as opposed to painful or uncomfortable. Ideally, the patient is nice and relaxed, confident in the chiropractor, so that the doctor can perform the necessary adjustments efficiently.
If you do feel pain during an adjustment, please speak up and let us know. We want your experience at our office to be pleasant and relaxing.
